This accident injured two people. One is the 73-year-old husband of the deceased and the other is 32-year-old Patrick Chestnut from Fairfield, Ohio. What Exactly Happened?

Patrick Chestnut’s Mazda was travelling eastbound on Nesconset highway. His Mazda crashed head-on with the Sheehans’ 2017 Honda while making a turn at route 111. The Honda driven by Robert Sheehan, the husband of Loraine Sheehan. They were traveling westbound. Chestnut was carrying a 31-year-old passenger, Karma Spear, of Bay Shore in his Mazda, says the local police. This accident happened at 12:15 pm local time.

Lorraine Sheehan was rushed to St. Catherine of Siena Medical Center in Smithtown where she was pronounced dead, said Suffolk County Police in a news release. According to the release, Robert Sheehan and Karma Spear were taken to Stony Brook University Hospital where Robert’s injuries were declared serious. Karma Spear’s injuries were not serious.

Both vehicles have been impounded for safety check.  The Police has asked witnesses to come forward with any vital information about the incident.
